From the riverfront gardens of Newstead to the industrial lofts of Fortitude Valley, the skyline views of Herston to the rolling vines of Mount Cotton, Brisbane is one of the most diverse and beautiful places in Queensland to get married, and I've had the privilege of celebrating love right across it.

I've officiated at some of the region's most iconic venues, including Tattersalls Club, The Warehouse Fortitude Valley,Newstead House, Victoria Park and Sirromet Winery. Each space carries its own magic and my job is to make sure your ceremony feels like it was made for exactly that place, and more importantly, made for exactly the two of you.

Whether you're dreaming of a ballroom celebration in the CBD, a riverside ceremony in New Farm, an industrial-chic gathering in the Valley or a vineyard wedding in the Redlands, I bring the same warmth, humour and personal touch every time. I know these venues inside out, and that local knowledge means I arrive relaxed, fully prepared and completely focused on what matters most: you, your partner, and the people you've chosen to share this moment with.

Brisbane weddings have a rhythm of their own. There's something about this city, laid-back but ambitious, riverside but rugged around the edges, that shows up in the way couples celebrate here too. Newstead House is one of Brisbane's most storied landmarks, built in 1846 and perched above the Brisbane River, it is the city's oldest surviving European residence. There is a quiet dignity to the place that you feel the moment you arrive wraparound verandahs, manicured gardens and Victorian-era charm that offers a refined sense of occasion rarely found so close to the city. And yet for all its grandeur, it never feels cold or untouchable. If anything, it draws warmth out of people.

It made the most extraordinary setting for Dale and Adele's July 2026 wedding. From the Fountain Courtyard to the Riverside Verandah, every space is framed by timeless elegance and heritage charm and with the Brisbane River stretching out beyond the gardens and the city skyline sitting quietly in the distance, their ceremony had a quality to it that is genuinely hard to put into words. Unhurried. Deeply personal. The kind of day that feels like it belongs somewhere between a memory and a photograph.

Newstead House was once the finest home in the colony of Moreton Bay — considered the heart of Brisbane's social life, the place to be. Weddings have been celebrated on these grounds for well over a century, and standing there officiating for Dale and Adele, you could feel all of that history in the most beautiful, unforced way. It wasn't a burden — it was a backdrop. A reminder that this place has always been somewhere people gather to celebrate the things that matter most.

It was an honour to bring their story to life on those grounds. One of Brisbane's most beloved and irreplaceable venues, and a day I won't forget.

There are venues that look good in photos, and then there are venues that actually feel like something when you walk in. The Warehouse in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, is firmly the latter.

Originally built in 1905, The Warehouse carries history in every brick. Beautifully restored to incorporate the perfect blend of original industrial features and contemporary design elements and the result is a space that somehow manages to feel both completely timeless and unmistakably alive. From the old world, speakeasy vibes of the downstairs Hall Space to the upstairs Loft with its iconic arched windows and soaring ceilings, every level has its own character, its own atmosphere, its own way of making people stop for a moment and just take in where they are.

It was the Loft that set the scene for Eloise and David's June 2026 wedding. Seven-metre high loft-style ceilings, exposed brickwork and original arched windows filled with the soft warm light of a Brisbane winter afternoon and inside, a room full of their favourite people. The kind of room that buzzes before a word is even spoken. The textures, the levels, the light, the scale, The Warehouse does something that very few venues manage: it makes the ceremony feel cinematic without ever making it feel like it isn't about the two people at the centre of it.

Eloise and David's ceremony was exactly that genuine, warm and completely theirs. The kind of day that reminds you exactly why this job is so special. The Warehouse offers a rare combination of history, luxury and atmosphere, and I feel incredibly lucky to have stood in that space and told their story.
