If you're looking for a wedding and marriage celebrant on the Gold Coast, then I'm your guy!

Being born and raised on the GC means I know this place inside out. Not just the popular spots, but the hidden gems that make it such a great place to get married.

So whether you're planning to say "I do" on the golden sands of a quiet beachside suburb, opting for a country wedding in the hills of Numinbah Valley, celebrating in a skyscraper along the coastline, or tying the knot in the hinterland overlooking the mountains and rainforest, I take a personalised approach to every ceremony. Nothing cookie-cutter, just something that actually feels like you.

I’ve worked with couples all across the Gold Coast and understand how different venues and timelines come together. My role is to keep things running smoothly, without it feeling overdone or too formal.

From Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise or Springbrook to Tamborine Mountain, I would be humbled to marry you and your partner on the Gold Coast. If you’re still figuring things out, I’m always happy to point you in the right direction.

FAQs

  • Yes! I’m a Gold Coast wedding celebrant and regularly officiate ceremonies on the Gold Coast, through to Newcastle and everywhere in between.

I also often do weddings in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Scenic Rim, Tweed Coast, Byron Bay, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Sydney.

I’ve even done weddings on the other side of Australia and internationally, so nowhere’s really off-limits.

At the end of the day, if the fit feels right and the wedding sounds good, I’m there.

  • A celebrant makes your marriage legal and runs your ceremony on the day.

That includes preparing and lodging the legal paperwork, writing your ceremony, guiding the structure and delivering it in a way that keeps people engaged.

A good ceremony isn’t just about the script, it’s about how it’s delivered.

  • There’s definitely value in working with a local.

A Gold Coast wedding celebrant understands the venues, weather, traffic, ceremony locations and how things actually work on the day.

Whether it’s a beach ceremony, hinterland wedding or private venue, local experience usually makes things smoother.

  • Don’t start with price. Start with:

    • Do you like how they communicate?

    • Do their ceremonies feel natural or forced?

    • Can you picture them standing in front of your guests?

    • Do they feel calm and in control?

The ceremony is about delivery, not just the script.

  • This is probably one of the biggest decisions you’ll make during wedding planning.

    My advice? Look beyond pricing.

Watch how they communicate. Read their reviews. Pay attention to how their ceremonies feel.

Your celebrant is standing front and centre during one of the biggest moments of your life, you want someone who feels calm, confident and genuinely invested.

  • Yes.

If you’re specifically looking for a male celebrant on the Gold Coast, the bigger question is usually whether the celebrant feels like the right fit for your personality and the type of ceremony you want.

Delivery, confidence and connection matter more than most couples expect.

  • Most celebrants charge between $800 to $2,400 to write and deliver a customised wedding ceremony.

There are some celebrants that charge more and some that charge less, however given the celebrant plays one of the most crucial roles in both the ceremony and legal element of your big day, it's a service you want to prioritise.

Your celebrant (hopefully me) isn't just a centrepiece or prop, they’re going to be a big part of the process and ultimately set the tone for the rest of the day.

My pricing varies depending on the type of package you select. If you like what you see so far, please get in contact and I'll email you with a price list.

  • Yes, but affordable can mean different things to different couples.

Some people want the simplest legal ceremony possible. Others want a fully personalised experience with support throughout the process.

The best approach is figuring out what matters most to you and finding a celebrant whose style and pricing align with that.

Cheap and good aren’t always the same thing, but value absolutely matters.

  • Absolutely! Beach weddings are one of the best things about getting married on the Gold Coast.

Burleigh, Currumbin and surrounding locations are popular for good reason.

The key is planning properly around timing, sound and weather so the ceremony feels relaxed rather than stressful.

  • The Gold Coast is pretty hard to beat when it comes to beach ceremonies.

Locations like Burleigh, Currumbin and the southern beaches create an incredible backdrop, but they also come with things to think about like wind, sound and timing.

    That’s where experience helps.

A good Gold Coast celebrant knows how to work with the environment rather than fight against it.

  • Yes, I regularly officiate weddings throughout the Gold Coast, including Surfers Paradise and surrounding areas.

Surfers Paradise works particularly well for couples wanting beachfront ceremonies, hotel weddings or something close to accommodation and nightlife.

Every location comes with its own feel, and that’s part of the fun.

  • I sure can. Elopements are becoming increasingly popular, especially for couples wanting something simple, private and relaxed.

These can be done at beaches, hinterland locations or private venues.

  • The Gold Coast has a mix of beach, hinterland and modern venues.

Beach ceremonies are great for simplicity and natural scenery. Hinterland venues offer more privacy and control. Private estates give you the most flexibility.

The “best” venue is the one that suits your guest experience and ceremony style.
